Soak up any cooking oil before disposal.

Cut garbage into 50cm pieces, or smaller, tie them together and dispose of them. |
| Recyclable garbage |
Aluminum cans (juice cans, beer cans, etc)

Put garbage into the meshed garbage bags (green).
Make sure the containers are empty before disposal. |
Once a month |
Steel cans (coffee cans, juice cans, food cans, milk cans, etc)

Put garbage into the meshed garbage bags (blue).
Make sure the containers are empty before disposal..
Drill a hole into spray cans. |
Bottles (liquor, beer, juice, coffee, vinegar)

Classify the bottles by their color and put them into the provided containers as specified by Miki-Town.
Remove caps from the bottles, and dispose of the caps as non-burnable garbage.
Lightly rinse the inside of the bottles. |
Plastic bottles (drink, liquor, soy sauce) |
Put garbage into the meshed garbage bags (yellow).
Remove caps from the bottles, and dispose of the caps as non-burnable garbage.
Remove any labels from the bottles.
Lightly rinse the inside of the bottles. |
Paper (newspaper, magazines, corrugated cardboard)

Tie up separate bundles for each type of paper, using the same cross shape (refer to the picture shown on the left).
On rainy days, put them into plastic bags (transparent or semitransparent) or wait until the next collection day. |
Clothes (clothes, towels)

Tie them together with string or put them into plastic bags (transparent or semitransparent).
On rainy days, put them into plastic bags (transparent or semitransparent) or wait until the next collection day. |
Metal (cookware, galvanized iron, scrap iron, bicycles, heaters) |
Remove kerosene from oil heaters. |
Containers and packaging (packs, tray cups, bottles, tubes, styrene foams, laps)

Put them into plastic bags (transparent or semitransparent).
Remove the caps on the bottles or tubes, and dispose of them as non-burnable garbage.
The caps are recycled as heat energy. |
| Non-burnable garbage |
Small home electronics (excluding: air conditioners, televisions, washing machines and refrigerators), chinaware, leather and rubber, glass waste, plastic, various material product, tapes, ash

Put them into plastic bags.
When you dispose of fluorescent lamps, bulbs, flat glass, broken earthenware, knives and so on, put them into sturdy bags and attach a "KIKEN (dangerous)" notice to the bags. |

Dry batteries (cylinder shaped dry battery )

Put them into the special red bucket.
Button type cell batteries and Ni-Cd batteries should be taken to electrical appliance stores. |
| Large-sized garbage |
Furniture, bedclothes |
When a piece of garbage has a length of 50 cm or more in any dimension it is defined as large-sized garbage.
Large furniture and bedding should be taken directly to the Clean Center (garbage-processing center). |

Garbage can be bought to Miki Clean Center during the following hours
